# 1 Person Saunas: Single Person Infrared Cabins

Source: https://www.mars-sauna-room.com/saunas/1-person-saunas/

A 1 person sauna is a single-seat infrared cabin for a spare room, home gym or apartment. This collection lists 35 one person saunas from 90 cm wide, all available in 110–120V.

A one person sauna is the simplest way into home heat bathing: a compact, single-seat cabin that warms without a stove, stones or water. This collection gathers 35 single person saunas from our full spectrum, far infrared, low-EMF and US-standard lines. Exterior widths run from 90 to 117 cm (about 35–46 in) and rated power from 1,100 to 1,760 W, so most of these cabins run on ordinary household current. Specifications at a glance Specification Range in this collection Exterior width 90–117 cm (35–46 in) Rated power 1,100–1,760 W Current at 120V about 9–15 A Voltage builds 110–120V on all 35 models; 220–240V on 33 Wood Red cedar and hemlock, each listed on 31 models Listed certification CE and ETL on 30 models Which heater type suits a single person infrared sauna? Carbon fiber panels are the most common heater here (20 models). They have a large surface and a low surface temperature, giving gentle, even heat across the back and legs. Full spectrum models (13) add red glass emitters for near and mid infrared plus visible red light, the usual pick when a buyer wants a one person infrared sauna with red light. One model uses ceramic tubes for a more concentrated feel. Our guide to carbon, ceramic and full spectrum heaters explains the trade-offs. What to check before you order Footprint: measure the room and allow clearance around the cabin for airflow and the power cord. Circuit: a 1,760 W cabin draws close to 15 A at 120V, so plan a dedicated circuit. Check the figures with the power calculator . Headroom and bench depth: compare interior dimensions on the product page with your tallest expected user. Controls: interior and exterior panels, soft-touch or digital, and features such as reading lights. Wood: red cedar for its color and aroma, hemlock for a pale, low-scent interior. Who a mini sauna suits Single seat cabins work well for apartments, home offices, hotel suites and small wellness studios where floor space is tight. For retailers they are the entry point of an infrared range and a good trial order product, because they are light, quick to assemble from pre-built panels and economical to ship. If the space allows a second seat, compare the 2-person saunas ; for the smallest formats see compact saunas . Traditional and steam options for one Every model in this collection is infrared, heating the body mainly by radiant heat at an operating range of 18–65 °C (64–149 °F). If you need a one person traditional sauna with a stove and stones, browse traditional saunas ; stove cabins run hotter, allow steam from water on the stones, and need a suitable stove, a dedicated circuit and ventilation planned by an installer.

## FAQ
### What size is a 1 person sauna?
In this collection, one person saunas measure 90 to 117 cm (about 35 to 46 in) wide on the outside. Depth and height vary by model and are listed on each product page. Leave a few centimeters of clearance around the cabin for airflow and the power connection, and check the door swing.

### Can a one person infrared sauna plug into a regular outlet?
All 35 models have a 110–120V build, rated at 1,100 to 1,760 W. That means a current of roughly 9 to 15 A at 120V. Smaller cabins suit a standard household circuit, while cabins near the top of the range should have a dedicated circuit. Have an electrician confirm the outlet.

### Do you make a one person traditional or steam sauna?
The single person saunas in this collection are all infrared cabins, which should never have water poured on the heaters. For stove saunas with stones and steam, see the traditional saunas line, where you can send your room size and we will match a stove and confirm the electrical requirement.

### What is the smallest sauna you make?
Single-seat cabins in the catalogue start at 90 cm (about 35 in) wide. Mini models such as the MS-FS05 Mini 1-Person Hemlock Far Infrared Sauna Room and the MS-FS08 Mini 1-Person Red Cedar Infrared Sauna are among the most compact; check each product page for exact dimensions. All are panel-built and assemble with basic tools.

### Is there a single person infrared sauna with red light?
Yes. Full spectrum models add red glass emitters that give off visible red light along with near and mid infrared, for example the MS-FS03 1-Person Full Spectrum Sauna with 6 Red Glass Heaters. For a cabin with a dedicated red light panel, browse the red light therapy saunas line.
