Low-EMF saunas use carbon fiber heating panels wired to reduce the electromagnetic field measured at the seating position. Carbon panels have a large surface area and run at a relatively low surface temperature, which gives a gentle, even heat across the back and legs. Models in this line list an 18–65 °C operating range.
These are the volume models of most infrared ranges: simple to assemble from pre-built panels, light enough to ship economically and available in 110–120V or 220–240V. Several include transom windows, interior and exterior control panels and reading lights. For marketing claims about EMF, ask us for measurement data on the exact heater build you order and read our guide to what low-EMF numbers mean.
EMF is usually measured in milligauss (mG) or microtesla (µT) with a meter at a set distance from the heater, at the seating position. Ask for readings taken on the heater build you are ordering, and specify the measuring distance in your purchase specification.
Some cabins in this line are listed for indoor and outdoor use under a covered area. For exposed outdoor installation choose a model from the outdoor saunas line or ask for a roof and weatherproofing option.
The line goes up to 6-person cabins aimed at gyms, hotels and apartment amenities. Product pages list dimensions, heater count and power for each size.
